Ubuntu 8.04.1 on Acer Aspire One. I replaced the aspireone Linpus Lite as I can not find the network sharing and other things. Although I must admit that Linpus Lite has the upper hand in terms of loading time, 15 secs vs. 40 + secs. But in terms of features, I'd go for ubuntu. UPDATE: 071808 Before you jump to the installation of Ubuntu or Ubuntu Netbook Remix, here are the flaws: 1 no microphone 2 drivers. Suspend mode does not 3 Standard Ubuntu wireless drivers do not work. You need to use madwifi drivers,which is not really easy to install, for casual PC users. 4. 40 + seconds boot-up time, always taking into account all these flaws against the loading time of Linpus, which you can now enable advance settings (or the current settings) via a simple option, i is the original Acer Linpus Lite back. This is my Aspire One with ubuntu 9.04 NBR. The Aspire One comes with Linpus Linux originally.
